All applicants and parents must carefully read and be familiar with the following Workshop policies.

Tuition is due in full upon registration. NO REFUNDS unless The Masquerade Theatre has to cancel for insufficient enrollment. Registrations by mail or by fax are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis up to maximum. Checks may be made payable to The Masquerade Theatre.

The professional nature of our workshop demands much from students and parents.

• Students must be on time for class, attend each class for the full class time, and be picked up promptly after class is over.
• Students must be properly attired for class: casual clothes that do not restrict movement and tennis shoes for workshops and camps. Girls may not wear dresses and boys may not wear tight pants with heavy belts as these preclude 100% participation in the physical exercises.
• No drinking or eating is allowed in the studios. No chewing gum is allowed in class.
• No smoking is allowed by students at any activity or time connected with The Masquerade Theatre or the Workshop.
• No visitors are allowed in the classes at any time.
• Students and parents should read any materials posted or distributed in class for information about auditions, special activities, etc.
• Students are not to go out of the studio area once they’ve left parental supervision. Parents must come in to drop off or pick up students.
• The Masquerade Theatre Workshop demands a high caliber of scholarship and personal behavior. Drugs, alcohol, abusive language or participation in activities or productions not meeting the standards of the Workshop are not permitted.

Disregard of the rules calls for disciplinary action: first, the student is warned; second, a parent’s meeting is called; and third, if the problem persists, the student will be dismissed from the Workshop. Rules are made for the protection and well-being of the student body, and to promote ideals of scholarship, character and professional behavior. The Masquerade Theatre Workshop pledges to provide the highest caliber training possible; in return, we expect the workshop’s policies to be honored and the workshop’s standards to be met. Therefore, the signatures of student and parent are required on the enrollment form, signifying understanding and agreement with the above rules.
