Sam, a native of Sioux City, Iowa, holds Bachelor of Music degrees in Vocal Performance and in Music Education from Simpson College and a Master of Music degree in Music History/Literature from the University of Houston, graduating summa cum laude. His favorite Masquerade credits include the title role in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Sweeney Todd (Pirelli), Lucky Stiff (Vinnie Di Ruzzio), Seussical (Mr. Mayor), Grease (Roger), Beauty and the Beast (Maurice), Guys and Dolls (Arvide), Parade (Judge Roan), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Prince of Wales/Jessup/St. Cyr), Jane Eyre (St. John Rivers), Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik), South Pacific (Professor), Annie Get Your Gun (Foster Wilson), Godspell (John the Baptist), Jekyll and Hyde (Bishop of Basingstoke), I Remember Mama (Peter Thorkelson), Gypsy (Mr. Goldstone and Weber) and City of Angels (Werner and Luther Kingsley).
